Game 1 will be Justin Verlander, who is 1-0 in the playoffs VS Jordan Montgomery of the Rangers sharing that record. My belief is that whoever wins game 1 will win the series. I predict that the Rangers offense will put many runs against the first ballot Hall of Famer, while Jordan Mongomery will pitch into the 7th. Rangers 6, Astros 2. As I said earlier, whoever wins game 1 will win the series, so I predict the upset. Series Final: Rangers 4, Astros 2.
National League Championship Series: The two teams on the National League side both knocked off the two best teams in the league: Atlanta and Los Angeles. Almost every MLB folower picks the Phillies to win the NL Pennant for the 2nd straight season, but lead by Cy Young candidate Zac Gallen and Rookie of the year candidate Corbin Carrol, I think that the D-Backs will shake Game 1 up. Diamondbacks 3, Phillies 1. Once again I have to go with the underdogs. Series Final: D-Backs 4, Phillies 3.
