It’s the championship series. Here in Mass it’s 2:09 pm. Currently in a game 5 the Guardians are battling the Tigers for their season. The winner will advance to Yankee Stadium to play the powerhouse Yankees. The National League bracket is set. The Mets and Dodgers clash for the pennant. A rematch of the 1988 NLCS. After a close 5 game series vs the Padres, the Dodgers look to continue their momentum into The LCD. Meanwhile, the Mets are coming into Los Angeles with spirit as ever, as they just easily defeated the heavily favorited Phillies. Also, the most definite front runners for the MVP will battle it out. Francisco Lindor and Shohei Ohtani. As for me, I think the Mets have a very bright future, with their power hitting, flame throwing lineup. Unfortunately, this year will not be the year of the Magical Mets part 2. The Dodgers are too powerful from leadoff to the 9 hole. For the first time since 2020, The Los Angeles Dodgers will claim the National League Pennant. Moving to the AL, although the Yankees obviously have the better team, no matter who they play, Detroit or Cleveland. I’m surprised too believe me on what I’m about to say. The Yanks curse will have to live a season longer. Cleveland, with underrated hitters throughout, and crazy good pitching, highlighting their closer, Emmanuel Clase, and Detroit, lead by eventual Cy Young winner Tarik Skubal, and young persistent hitters like Kerry Carpenter, could also overthrow Aaron Judge and the Yankees. My World Series predictions are… Dodgers vs whoever wins today. While I was writing Kerry Carpenter hit an RBI single scoring Trey Sweeney. Currently it is 1-0 Tigers.
